Hello! My name is Amanda and I’m 23 years old. I love making jewelry and its been a hobby of mine since I was a young girl scout. I will be TESL certified soon (Teach English as a Second Language) and I am really excited to spend some time abroad soon. I graduated from OSU recently and moved home with my family in Hudson, OH after 5 years in Columbus. I’m working on my career to be a social worker, and I’ll be applying to grad school for a masters in a year or so. I came across a great opportunity to get some experience and go to India to work at an orphanage in September. I’m excited to do crafts and make jewelry with the kids! In the meantime, I’ve been keeping busy by making jewelry, working retail, and researching  jobs.

I use mostly all glass beads and I high-quality fishing line to string them. I also enjoy using hemp to do macrame pieces. I love bright colors, anything shiny or metallic, and seed beads. I don't think I have ever made the same necklace twice - I try to follow intricate but consistent patterns that are fun to edit and improvise. I use toggles and silver spring locks, and I always double crimp for security. I have many of my pieces on my Etsy shop page, others are on consignment in a shop in my town, and some are just on here.

I would really love to have my necklaces sold in a shop, such as a salon or boutique.  I'm sure the human element would be far more rewarding than selling online. I'm okay with a 50/50 deal, and I have been considering how I feel about wholesale too.

I hope you like my stuff! Thank you for your consideration.
